The Traditional Drink Beer Pletok

       Pletok beer is a beverages made from some mixed of spices, namely ginger, pandan leavesand lemongrass. The traditional drink is known among the ethnic Betawi. So that the color is more attractivethe Betawi people usually use extra secang wood, which will give the red color when brewed with hot water.Although it contains the word beer, nonalcoholic beer pletok. This drink is believed to accelerate the circulation of bloodBetawi people consume a lot in the evenings as warmers.
Ingredients to Make Beer pletok:
   1.  2 Liter Water
   2.  350 grams of ginger, crushed / mashed
   3. 6 seeds Cloves
   4. 5 cm Cinnamon
   5. 3 seeds Cardamom
   6.   5 rod Serai / sere, crushed / mashed
   7.   25 gr Wood secang
   8.  1/2 grain Nutmeg, crushed / mashed
   9.  500 gr sugar
   10.  Salt to taste
How To Make Beer pletok Typical Betawi Efficacious Warm and Healthy:
     Mix the water and sugar to the pan.
     Add the ginger, then boiled using medium heat until it boils and sugar dissolves completely.
     Add sugar and ginger into a solution of secang wood, stirring to mix.
     Add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg crushed.
